Parent-Teacher Conferences 2025

Dear Briggs Parents and Guardians:

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held November 3, 4 and 5. They will be in person or virtual. On these 3 days, pickups will be at 1:25 and students will start loading buses at 1:35.

To schedule a conference with your child’s teacher, you will use the Realtime Parent Portal. Directions for scheduling conferences in Realtime are below.

The Parent Portal will be open to schedule conferences starting today, October 23 - October 31. After that it will be locked. 

If you want to schedule a conference with a staff member that is not listed on your child's schedule (i.e. guidance counselor, nurse, CST, ESL, etc.) please email the teacher/staff member directly.

Bringing children is strongly discouraged. If you prefer to meet virtually, please select a date and time and let the teacher know in advance so she can set up a Google Meet link for that time.

We encourage all parents to set up a conference with your child's teacher. Communication between parents and teachers about student progress has a positive effect on student learning.

Estimados padres y tutores de Briggs:

Las reuniones de padres y maestros se llevarán a cabo los días 3, 4 y 5 de noviembre. Serán presenciales o virtuales. Durante estos tres días, la recogida será a la 1:25 p. m. y los estudiantes comenzarán a subir a los autobuses a la 1:35 p. m.

Para programar una reunión con el maestro de su hijo/a, utilice el Portal para Padres en Tiempo Real. Se adjuntan las instrucciones para programar reuniones en Tiempo Real.

El Portal para Padres estará abierto para programar reuniones desde hoy, 23 de octubre, hasta el 31 de octubre. Después de esa fecha, permanecerá cerrado.

Si desea programar una reunión con un miembro del personal que no figura en el horario de su hijo/a (por ejemplo, consejero/a, enfermera/o, CST, ESL, etc.), envíe un correo electrónico directamente al maestro/a.

Se desaconseja encarecidamente traer a los niños. Si prefiere reunirse virtualmente, seleccione una fecha y hora e infórmeselo al maestro/a con anticipación para que pueda configurar un enlace de Google Meet para esa hora.

Animamos a todos los padres a programar una reunión con el maestro de su hijo/a. La comunicación entre padres y maestros sobre el progreso del estudiante tiene un efecto positivo en su aprendizaje.
